The awesomeness that is Little Things ♥♥♥

Tumblr's been blocked for the nth time here in our office, so basically, my life sucks right now. -_- 

Anyway, it's been a while since I last posted, so might as well rave about the best thing in the world today: the release of One Direction's follow-up single to "Live While We're Young", "Little Things" last October 29, 2012.

One word to describe the whole song: PERFECTION. ♥

I virtually fell in love the first time I heard it. The ingenuity of the lyrics, the acoustic vibe, the husky voices of Harry and Zayn, and of course, the harmonization of One Direction. The song fits them perfectly.

The lyrics were penned by the forever awesome Ed Sheeran (yeah, the guy behind "Lego House"), a close friend of the band and the same guy who wrote "Moments" (one of my favorites) for One Direction's debut album "Up All Night". 

God bless this guy because he even went against his management to make One Direction sing this song. *____*

The song "Little Things" can be coined as the older sister of "What Makes You Beautiful". While WMYB is an upbeat track, "Little Things" is a more mature, subtle and relaxed one. Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook virtually exploded with spazz posts about the song, and I am one of them.

I teared up, okay?? T_____T The sweetness of the song is just so overwhelming. I virtually fell in love the first time I heard it. When Zayn and the rest of the lads started to sing, I just melted into a pool of water. Their voices are so soothing, calm, and relaxing--which made me fall in love with each one of them even more. It's a song of a guy who is so in love with a girl despite her imperfections. *sigh* Where the hell can I find a guy like that? Ed Sheeran practically dug out all of my insecurities and wrote about it.

Definitely one of the sweetest songs I've heard in years.

Hearing the lads sing it makes it more sweeter. I definitely cannot fathom myself screaming if I am going to watch it live---I'll just freeze in my place, feel the song, stare at the awesomeness that is One Direction, and let my tears freely flow. *sigh*

So yeah, "Little Things" now joins the ranks of my wedding song list, which includes a1's "Heaven By Your Side", NSYNC's "This I Promise You", and TVXQ's "On&On". <3

Here's the pretty catch~ "What Makes You Beautiful" tells you you're beautiful, "Little Things" make you believe that you are beautiful.
